An Essay Entitled Rethinking The Social Contract

What started as a blog post became a longish essay. This is a draft that I really struggled to write. Many people are dissatisfied with the current rhetoric about what to do for the economy. But they don't have an alternative vision to champion. This is my attempt to create such a vision. Sorry about the length. If you do read it through I would really appreciate getting comments on it.
